Gogijeon (Meat Jun)

1/2 pound lean beef, thinly sliced
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup flour
Salt and pepper
Flour for dredging
Vegetable oil to pan fry
Cut beef into 2-inch x 2-inch pieces. If the beef is thick, pound meat with the back of a knife or a meat tenderizer to make it paper thin. Lightly season the meat with salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet with 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil. Dredge the meat in flour, shaking off any excess flour, then dip into egg. Pan fry the meat for about a minute on each side or until lightly browned. Serve with soy sauce. Makes 2 servings.
