Na'alehu Elementary and Intermediate School

On June 8, 2006, Na'alehu Elementary and Intermediate School became the twenty-second school to receive a Sun Power for Schools photovoltaic (PV) system. The 1.2 kilowatt PV system was installed on a covered walkway and will provide power to the school.

System details:

Seven (7) Sharp 170 watt NE-170U1 poly-crystalline modules

 • 

Sunny Boy 1800U inverter

 • 

AC and DC Disconnects

 • 

Fat Spaniel data acquisition system (wind speed and direction, PV output, irradiance, ambient air temperature)
