Log into the Hohm site to set up a basic or advanced home profile and receive energy savings tips. A Hohm Score measures your home's energy efficiency based on its structure and your estimated energy use. Use your score to compare your home's efficiency to other homes in your area.

Home Energy Saver

The Home Energy Saver was the first internet-based tool for calculating energy use in residential buildings. Complete the quick or detailed version to get tips for saving energy and money. This tool is developed and maintained by the U.S. Department of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Please note, there is a known issue with this site caused by setting both the heating system and the cooling systems to none. A temporary work-around is to enter a minimum system in either category, then ignore the specific energy/cost estimate. For example, you could enter a room air conditioner and disregard that category when you receive the results customized for your home.
