Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. (HECO), and its subsidiaries, Maui Electric Company, Ltd. (MECO), and Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc. (HELCO), provide electricity to 95% of the state's 1.2 million residents on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, Lanai and Molokai.

For more than 100 years, HECO has provided the energy that has fueled the islands' development through its colorful history; first as a kingdom, now as a modern state.

Today, we offer more than electricity.

We help our customers use electricity safely and efficiently, to get the most value for their money. We provide energy solutions to homes and businesses. We partner with our customers and the community to support our Hawaiian ohana (family).
