|Transportation plays a central role in reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Switching to electric vehicles will use substantially less oil at lower cost to reach the same level of mobility, even if oil is used in the production of electricity. Hawaiian Electric Company, Maui Electric Company and Hawaii Electric Light Company are excited to support our customers by offering pilot Time Of Use rates with discounted off-peak night time rates for electric vehicle charging.
